Research for The Professionals

Evidence tells you if it is effective or not but doesn’t tell you if it is worth it. Health economic studies for pharmaceuticals, biologics, diagnostics, biomarkers and medical devices combine measuring both outcomes and costs to judge the value of innovative interventions. These studies include; budget impact, cost utility, cost-effectiveness, cost minimization, cost benefit analyses, and cost of illness.
